Appointments & Referrals

Referrals
Each new patient must have a referral from their primary care physician in order to schedule an evaluation. Dr. Stegman is available for referrals from other physicians. He also serves as the Medical Director of Our Father's Place Group Home. Patients are seen by appointment only.

First Visit
Each new patient is asked to complete a health history form before their first visit to Developmental & Behavioral Pediatrics. This will help our medical staff make a prompt and accurate assessment during the first visit. Please bring your current insurance cards, including Medicaid cards, and any current prescription bottles. Please arrive 20 minutes before your scheduled appointment to complete registration and other paperwork, or print and complete the online forms before your arrival.

Routine or Follow-Up Visit
Always bring your insurance cards, including Medicaid cards and all prescription medications. You can also request a routine or follow-up appointment using our online Appointment Request form.

Cancellation Policy
Please call to cancel any appointments you will be unable to keep at least 48 hours in advance so we may offer these appointments to other patients in need of treatment. We do our best to see every patient at their scheduled time; however, we reserve the right to reschedule your appointment if the patient arrives 10 or more minutes late for an appointment. There is a $50 charge for appointments not cancelled 48 hours in advance. This fee must be paid prior to scheduling another appointment.
